The Stock Car Race

Due to the inclement weather on April 19th, the Stock Car division season premier was canceled and a rescheduled event will be held on May 17, 2008. This is a full point event. This will be back to back events for the Stock Cars as they are scheduled on May 10th with the Sprint Cars, Dwarf cars and Crash to Pass Trucks.

Midgets have been added the the May 17th events also.

1-8-2008 - Track News
Port Angeles Speedway Car Owner’s, Membership Registration meeting for Hornets, Jr. Hornets and Queen Bees will be held at Armstrong Marine at 6:30pm January 18, 2007.

Hobby Stock, Crash to Pass Cars (Impact) and Crash to Pass Trucks, Owners and Registration Meeting will be held on January 19, 2007 at 11:00 am at Armstrong Marine.

12-7-2007 - Hobby Stock Division.
Port Angeles Speedway is proud to announce that a new Hobby Stock Division has been added to Port Angels Speedway’s schedule for 2008.

The Hobby Stock Division class is designed to be an entry-level class of stock car racing or to those who wish to participate and enjoy the sport whose means direct them to this division.

12/4/2007 - Sprint Cars at Port Angeles Speedway.
Port Angeles Speedway is proud to announce that Sprint Cars are scheduled for five (5) events on the expanded Port Angeles Speedway schedule for the 2008 Season. Tentative dates are scheduled for May, June, July, August and September

W.E.S.C.O. Sprints will be supporting all five date.

In conjunction on one of the dates Port Angeles Speedway will be hosting the First Annual NORTHWEST LIMITED SPRINT NATIONALS. Details for the Nationals are being work on and will be released at a latter date. General Manager Bert Johnson is working with other area promoters to try and link this event to a series of events that may be run at other Speedways promoting Limited Sprints in 2008.
